Harry Potter
The boy whose most constant companion is death.

Harry Potter isn’t just another kid’s book. It parallels reality: the government which chooses to address less serious concerns rather than face the real threats, the child soldiers, the war victims. The existence of magic doesn’t make that reality less real. Fictional or not, people can leave scars that last a life time; words are like curses, they can either help or hurt.
Harry Potter isn’t just a book, not to me.
30 Day Harry Potter Challenge
Day 10: Horcruxes or Hallows
I choose the Hallows, not because it’s like the better of the both because all Horcruxes and all Hallows have something to do with death. I prefer the Hallows because the story shows that you have to be wise about the decision you make. Plus, if you were to own all of them you’re pretty badass. If I were to choose Horcruxes, I’d only choose them to go on the adventure with the trio and that is all. Plus Dumbledore says people find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right and due to that that’s why I’m semi-tied with them.
